Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell has worked as a chef, TV personality in the United States and a teacher at Institute of Culinary Education. She hosts Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on Food Network. Food Network. With her signature spiky blond hair and pumped-up personality Anne Burrell eliminates the intimidation of eating out and offers concise easy-to-master techniques for home cooks on her Food Network series Secrets of a Restaurant Chef. Chef Burrell was a student and worked in some of the most prestigious New York restaurants. He was also a part of Iron Chef America and the culinary landscape of Italy. Growing up in the Upstate region of New York Chef Burrell was attracted by the food. The Culinary Institute of America sparked her interest in the management of restaurants after she graduated with an English/Communications diploma at Canisius College Buffalo NY. I loved every minute during my time at The Culinary Institute of America she declares. I could not be more educated or accomplished in my studies. After graduation, Burrell spent one year in Italy studying at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners and working in the Umbrian restaurant La Taverna del Lupo as in Tuscany's La Bottega del 30, an Michelin-starred restaurant. Burrell gained a greater knowledge of Italian culture and cuisine throughout her time in Italy and this has affected her style of cooking. Burrell was an Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board member, which aims to improve the quality of life for children facing challenges. Burrell also serves as an Juvenile Disease Research Foundation's celebrity ambassador, and is a vocal advocate for awareness of childhood diabetes. As an inspirational speaker, she is on the road to talk about her love of food as well as her career in the culinary field. Anne has said during her career in the kitchen that she feels so fortunate to be able share with others what is most important for her.
